Lucretius prophesied the coming of the Al. Gore-effect over two thousand years ago:
tandem Bruma nives adfert pigrumque rigorem;

Winter returns; Chill follows her with chattering teeth.

Thus snows come and all the ground is frore;
e’en Queensland shivers because of Al Gore.
